Pensford Viaduct Walk

Every time we drove through Pensford on the way back from somewhere, I would marvel at the sight of the viaductโ€™s arches on the horizon. I have done so since I was a kid. each time I would swear to myself that one day I would stop and take a look around. I have a whole folder on my phone filled with various map screenshots of just such places.

After the first lockdown of 2020, we were itching to get back outdoors. At the time, I was personally feeling very unenthused about our local city green spots and dreamt of going a little further afield. So we set off, sandwiches and snacks in hand, to the village of Pensford just seven miles south of Bristol. Please enjoy some of the photos from our trip below.
